What you will own

Industry positionning. You bring a roster of relationships with insights, marketing, and innovation leaders at global brands. You convert those relationships into pilots, and pilots into long-term contracts. You are not dependent on inbound; you generate your own pipeline.

Commercial strategy for Verso. You work with the founders to define how we price, position, and sell. You know what the market will bear, where the competition is weak, and which verticals or geographies to prioritize.

Client relationships at the most senior level. You are the person clients call when they need a thought partner, not just a vendor. You show up at conferences, you write, you speak, you represent Verso in the industry conversations that matter.

Product direction from the market. Because you are deep in client conversations, you are also the clearest signal we have about what the platform needs to do next. You feed that back into our roadmap with authority.

Early team building. As Verso scales, you will help define what the commercial function looks like and hire into it.

Le profil recherché

Who you are

  • 15+ years in the insights industry, whether at a global agency, a boutique consultancy, or leading an in-house research function at a major brand
  • You have a genuine network of senior decision-makers in insights, marketing, and innovation at the kinds of organizations Verso serves: CPG, beauty, sportswear, telecom, retail, pharma
  • You understand the full research lifecycle and can hold a credible conversation about methodology, not just commercial terms
  • You have a commercial track record: you have personally brought in clients, grown accounts, or led a P&L
  • You are viewed as an expert in the industry

This role is for you if:

  • You have built real trust with senior decision-makers and want to leverage that network to shape a new category
  • You’re frustrated by the limits of traditional research and want to bring something genuinely new to the market
  • You think like an owner, you want to define the model, not just execute against a quota

This role is not for you if:

  • You are looking for a structured sales role with a defined territory, playbook, and predictable pipeline
  • You see AI as incremental rather than a fundamental shift in how research should be done

What makes this role unusual

  • You will not be handed a territory and a quota. You will help define what our commercial model looks like from first principles.
  • Your industry credibility is your main asset here. Verso gives you a genuinely differentiated platform to take to the market, one that most of your network has not seen yet.
  • You will have direct access to the founders and real influence over the product roadmap. The insights you bring back from client conversations will shape what we build.
  • You are joining at the moment when the category is being defined. The brands that help write that story will have an outsized impact on how AI-powered research is adopted across the industry.

Verso is rewriting the rules of consumer research, in a market that is being highly disrupted by AI. We need the person who defines what great looks like when AI conducts the interviews and humans ask better questions.

Verso was founded by Lydia & Camille. Lydia spent 7 years at BCG leading AI-powered transformation for CPGs and knows the pain inside out. Camille is an AI expert and pioneer in agentic systems. Together, they decided to build Verso to turn consumer understanding into a real-time competitive advantage for all of their clients.
